Addressed to the wife, hoping its not just changes to terms and conditions, expired card details or some such guff.

*Starts adding stuff to CRC wish list *

Tickets purchased by Direct Debit

Prizes of less than £5,000 will be automatically paid back into the bank account from where the Direct Debit is set up. You will be notified by letter if you manage your National Lottery Account through post or telephone, or by email if you manage your Account online. A cheque will be sent for prizes of £5,000 or more, up to and including £50,000.

We will contact you for prizes over £50,000 to arrange to process your prize claim in person.

Logically, a letter notifying you of a win is highly unlikely to shout about the fact it is from NL, is it?

Edit: you've always been my favourite poster on this forum OP

perhaps you should make arrangements with the wife as to your share before you give her the letter.

Yeah thanks for that. The bollard was on my screen when my boss came to talk to me, he spent half his time looking at me and the rest watching the bollard popping up.
