[Closed] Nokia 6700 compared to N82 - any experience.

ok so my N82's died, turns off as soon as you try and make a call.

Orange said they will replace it but dont have any N82's in stock and have offered me a 6700.

Anyone used both and can offer me a comparison? Or just let me know what the 6700.

I loved my N82 *sighs* no idea about the 6700, got a Desire now.

Yeah I like my N82 too, its one of the only phones that until recently just worked and didnt make me phenomenally angry on a regular basis.

Appears not to have wifi, worse camera, much worse flash, and it's not a smartphone whereas the n82 is. (i.e. no apps or ovi maps).

6700 is nowhere near as good. Direct replacement is the nokia N8(tho touchscreen) out 1st of october. Current replacement they might have in stock is the N86 if you want a button-phone (was the photo-focussed replacement for the n82).

They stock the X6, which is touch screen but similar camera quality to n82. Battery won't be as good tho (no touchscreen is likely to be).
