Mitchell Starc looks pretty decent, though. If they can keep him, Pattinson and Siddle fit, then that's not a bad pace attack. Add in Hilfenhaus in english conditions and it's pretty good.
It's the other areas of the game that should be worrying Australia. They have no spinner worth the name unless they get the guy his visa - having said that, I'm not sure how good he is.
Their batting is a shambles at the moment - they are talking of drafting in Chris Rogers (who never got a look-in in his 20's) at the age of 35.
Gone are the days when Australia could afford to overlook players of the quality of Jamie Siddons, Stuart Law, Jamie Cox, Greg Blewett, Darren Lehmann etc.
Mitchell Johnson is not a chucker in my opinion, certainly no more than Dale Steyn anyway.
I think the test series will be closer than many are predicting.
The Aussie pace attack looks ok. It remains to be seen how or if they'll exploit English conditions. The tests don't start til July so a lot will depend on the weather. No Aussie spinner worth discussing and a relatively weak batting line up too. Mind you England haven't exactly looked the part over the last 12 months either have they? A few players need to have a big and consistent series for us.
