wifes birthday friday so looking at trying to sort a nice pampering day followed by a hearty meal, drinks, and night at a decent hotel mebbes.

North of York but Feversham Arms (Helmsley) is a good all-rounder but fairly small so not got the massive features of a big hotel. Nice outdoor pool and good food. Spa side okay but super facilities.
Not a spa fan myself, but [url= http://www.losehillhouse.co.uk/ ]Losehill House Hotel[/url] looks rather nice.
And, in that location, you could sneak off for a quick ride while Mrs Sadexpunk is enjoying her pampering session 😉
Have been to a wedding at Losehill house hotel. Was very nice indeed.
For the record it was the wedding of a restaurant manager of a very high end Peak District place who had chosen it despite being very familiar with all the nicer hotels in the area.
+ 1 for Losehill House Hotel. The food and facilities are first class.
just tried getting in there but no vacancies that day. mebbes left it too late :-/ one for the future i think.
