I will be getting a company vehicle soon through work & having had vans in the past, the space & low tax of a van appeals to me. I'd originally been looking at a 2 yr old T5 kombi for circa £18-19K + vat, but when i looked at other options such as the new Transit Custom, i was amazed to see that for the same money i could have a brand spanker.
The only downside of the Tranny double cab is that they come with a bulkhead (which can be removed) but the seats don't fold down so i won't be able to get any sheet materials in the back. Although the weird seat set up in the T5 only lets the double fold flat as the single does this weird tilt only thing, probably because its the access seat from a caravelle. Thats aid the T5 seats can be un-clipped whereas the transit ones are bolted in.
Does anyone have any opinions on which would be the best of the 2?
Custom Torneo, and remove the rear seat?
I'd looked at doing that but the Tourneo is classed as a car for tax purposes.
