Having been ill for the last couple of days I haven't taken my godson sledging. Woke up this morning feeling better and most of the snow has been rained off. Is there anywhere near Southampton that still has decent snow and decent descents?
I'd head up to Farley Mount / St Catherines Hill. Last winter people were skiing up there....
Snow looks a bit thin on the ground now though after last nights rain.
Yeah, thin snow is the problem. Anywhere not get rained on?
Whilst not in Southampton, take your godson to the group ride in Swinley, get him to follow that Australian bloke, psychle, making comments such as:
"You paid how much for that"
"Strewth, my grandma rides faster than you"
"Are you sure you were right to take the stabilisers off?"
I think you get the general idea and will be able to improve on my suggestions.
