My nephew's band has had interest shown in them from an outfit in Manchester called Sugar House.
Does anyone know anything about them? Can they help a band on the way or is it just an illusion of success?
they look like a small studio set-up that will offer good rates to unsigned as a route to building a permanent relationship if they hit the money. this isn't unknown but it all depends on the two guys
Let me do some digging later this evening to see if any of my contacts have experience of them...
this is also a good point to stick up some internet links to your nephews band and blatantly plug them 🙂

Nephew writes the music and plays lead. They are only young so I guess they are doing ok though they have yet to be paid for a gig. :o)
They will be in NME next week apparently. I was always a Sounds man as NME was too 'establishment' but I guess loads has changed since the 70s! ;o)
