I'm currently lucky enough to have 60Mb broadband via Virgin Media. Looking to move though and the area we're going to has a max of 8Mb and a likely 5.5Mb. I'm wondering if this is sufficient for the likes of Lovefilm Instant?

Also - one option is Sky BB and that would come with a 40GB/month cap. I've no idea if that's likely to be a problem.

the cap would probably pose an issue if you stream alot of movies

the speed wont unless your trying to do it on multiple devices at once......

we get 2.2meg at home and its plenty to stream a movie over apple tv

Agree with TR. We're on 60GB limit and normally at around 50GB a month. That's three people in the house (inc 15 year old son).
