Despite talking to every person I meet about mountain biking, spending most of my spare time watching mountain biking YouTube channels, browsing mountain biking forums, looking at mountain bikes and sometimes actually mountain biking I don't feel I'm making the most of my ability to let everyone else know I like mountain biking. So, I'm looking for suggestions for decent mountain biking t-shirts, not ones which just say 'fox' or similar across the front, something with a design/print so that people who I don't know instantly recognise my skills on a bike.

Suggestions for t-shirts, suppliers, etc.

Cheers
Peter

Not MTB specific but for general mountain/outdoorsy type designs some of these are quite nice:

Depending on what size you are, there’s a few left of these mountain bike/Technics designs, drawn by some bloody idiot who fancies himself with the crayons. Printed on rather nice quality American Apparel t-shirts too. Bargain!

Available on the team JMC shop site

My take on this is buy t shirt that support small local business or Similar rather than big brand or these random Facebook marketed t shirt that seem to be out there for every sport.

As above single-track magazine, maybe a local bike shop or trail building group.

T-shirts are usually overpriced so I want that to be to a business that I believe in and it really makes a difference.

Broken Riders also a good shout, though the logo has the wrong finger broken.

Sombrio have always done quality kit, whether it’s what you’re looking for is another matter...

I’ve bought quite a lot of RaceFace gear over the years, but it might not be quite mountain bikey enough...

Exactly the same here. I've got maybe 3 or 4 decent quality t-shirts but with pictures of road bikes on them. Never ridden one in my life!

Rox?! Still have my gear head t shirt 20 odd years later.

As mentioned spoke and solace do a few (didn't hurt, I do all my own stunts, pub!). The rest are a bit road cycling focused. I also buy t shirts with logos I fancy from a n other t shirt firms. "Bikes are guid", upside down "is my Bike OK?" and the like.

You could message Ben Cathro. He seems to have lot of mildly amusing bike t shirts on hand.

There can be only one…

I love mine although it's a bit big.

I wonder if he can be arsed to do another run so I can buy a different one or two in a large?

I recently bought a couple of shirts from setup clothing. Reasonably priced and very good quality. Based in the peaks. Check them out setupclothing.com

Cheers, didn't know they had restarted. Not as many mtb designs as before but couple that I like.

I was riding while wearing my Gnarpoon T-shirt the other day. It suddenly occurred to me that my new Chromag is so slack that it almost looks like the bike on the T-shirt.

Spoke and Solace are apparently getting some new MTB/gravel inspired designs "shortly". I've their Rest Day tee and can attest that it's well made and hasn't fallen apart in two days unlike everything I bought from Rapanui.

That's odd, I have quite a few from Rapanui, and they've lasted well!

Don't fulfil the op's brief of cycling-related though...

I've tried most of theses over the years, but i think Cycology is the best in terms of quality of the t-shirt.

Up to you whether you like the designs
