MegaSack DRAW - 6pm Christmas Eve - LIVE on our YouTube Channel
Who can you recommend for the most accurate exchange rates of a €uro to GBP flavour for business type stuff? (preferably with a built in converter like this).
Gracias.
I trade several tens of thousands of Dollars, Euros etc each week and use oanda.com for rates.
I just use google cos it's easiest. Type 200 EUR in GBP into the search bar and it'll do it.
Why would you be concerned about super accuracy anyway? You do realise that the 'official' exchange rate isn't what you get when you change money, don't you?
Cheers trimix.
Molly, it's better to have a more sources of info than less, no? I am also aware that I might not be in control of when I have to buy the €uros either or if it will be cheaper to have a Spanish account and buy cheap €uros then pay costs on a Spanish account. But for quick pricing at a business rather than tourist rate it's quite useful?
Are you working yet? And how's the new addition?
Exchange rate isn't a question that has a right answer. When you sell, you accept the price offered, which may vary. So all published exchange rates are accurate.
I use www.xe.com for my 'work':
I am a registered 'entrepreneur'/ travialleur independant (self employed) in France and my invoices have to be in Euros, except my sole client is UK based (my old employer when I lived in the UK) and pays me in £ into my UK account. My hourly rate in £ stays the same, but my hourly rate in euros changes month to month depending on the exchange rate.
Don.. waiting for an offer from IBM but someone in Cardiff wants me for a few weeks which is ok. New addition is quite a stressed little thing and cries frequently although is fairly easy to comfort again. For a short while..
Ta for asking.. are you back in Wrexham yet?
Yep, just south of and it's bleak, except for the riding. Wrecsam is pretty much the a-hole of the world, but it's my town and I love it...
I'm slowly getting around to organising some kind of weekend of riding based around Llandegla, staying at a local campsite. If you're up for it, bring the family and caravan.
I haven't got round to thinking about a date yet, would it be too much to expect good weather???
Good luck with IBM and good to hear the nipper's doing well. 😀

OK so it's in German but the "Devisenrechner" that appears mid page when you select the currencies you want to convert is self explanatory.
Thanks Don that is a lovely offer 🙂 I'd love to ride Llandegla properly but I've also heard there's good riding in the Clywydians...
Might be getting a new caravan soon so could use it as a first run out...
I think it could be cool to get a group together and put some faces to names and have a bit of a ride, and Llandegla offers something for everyone, a bit of a chill out weekend. 😀
I like riding bikes 🙂
Oh and OANDA.com for your currency needs.
You'd be most welcome, I'll post something up over on the bicycle forum tomorrow evening.
