If I had ruptured/torn my medial collateral ligament (inner side of knee) could I walk? Mine is a quite sore/stiff and painful to touch but i can walk, is it likely I have just strained it? Been like this for a week now and hoped it would have calmed down.

Possibly / Probably - they only way to know is to get a professional to examine it.
