Anyone use mobile broadband on their laptop?

Seen that T-Mobile are doing a package where you just pay for the days/week that you use.

Is it a bit like a mobile phone where coverage will an issue in certain places?

Would use it when away on holidays/weekends but usually at these places (by the sea etc) my mobile coverage isn’t great so would the same apply to the mobile broadband?

Thanks.

Use my mobile phone as a mobile broadband modem via bluetooth on vodafone, it uses the 3G mobile phone network so you need to be in an area that has good coverage.

you will get good (all be it shared) speeds in urban areas, rural areas are mixed. I use my phone as a 3G modem. If you don't get a 3G signal the speed will drop to GPRS speeds (about 20kbs).
