I've seen little wireless hubs in the 3 shop that you can stick your mobile broadband key into and then the whole houshold can use it.
I don't know how fast they are compared to a normal connection though, and you could probably find the box on Ebay a lot cheaper than the 3 shop!

Anyone use the dongle things and how slow are they compared to home broadband?
Three (3) do a thing called MiFi. Its a device (not a dongle as it's standalone) that connects to the 3 3G network and you connect to it via WiFi.
I'm not sure how fast they are as it all depend on what network you are on and what your coverage is like.
