you know the little picture of stickmen with suitcases on the tyre pressure table in the manual?
Where there's like a whole family of stickmen and loads of bags, are the pressures stated for a car about to carry a shed load of stickmen, or are they the pressures the tyres should be when said car is already laden with stickmen?
Just wondering..
Eh? Makes no odds?
You're joking?
it's important.
suppose 5 stickmen with large cases jump in your car, and your tyres are only set up for 3 stickmen and a small valise? You might pinchflat on a speed bump or something.
You're obviously not joking so do it when the tyres are cold & the car is devoid of stick men [& their cases]
Do you mean: " are the pressures shown what they should be when measured with the load already on board or before the car is loaded up?"
If so, I suspect it doesn't make a big difference.
You really need to carry a foot pump with you at all times so you can adjust your tyre pressures as stickmen and their associated luggage get in and out of your car.
A mini-pump is better as you can get more accurate changes
Don't forget to let a bit of air out after the stickmen have got out and removed their cases.
[EDIT] too slow.....
now Im worried as my car doesnt have a picture for carrying a stick dog in the boot
It means if you are GOING to drive with 5 stickmen.
Tyre pressures are always measured COLD with the car empty.
It's important to know that the car's fine with either set of pressures, but if you know you are going to be driving a lot of stickmen around for a while, say you are going on a family holiday, it's better if you do up the pressures.
