Get a drone. You can get it to fetch you a cuppa whilst you're on the sofa.

mini drones look good fun for starters. as for a fleshlight, i have got to the stage in life where a really good pint and pork pie interest me more.

I'm concerned for the welfare of your pork pies.

Are drones easier to fly than helicopters, because they are hard work?

Given your love of cycling, and health issues that limit your cycling, why not restore an old motorbike and have a pootle?

Build a life size replica of your Jones, using nothing but matchsticks, belly button fluff and toenail clippings. You'll be famous I tell ya...famous!

Spoze you could wedge the porkpie in the opening of the pint glass. Couple of seconds in the microwave before hand 🙂

For home entertainment ie. something to do whilst the children are asleep and wifey's watching some celebrity bollocks on televsion - Lego Technics. Can't beat it!

For noisier, day time stuff, a proper adult remote control car.

I also like Jimbobo's idea. What's the worst that can happen?

At the risk of starting another Tamiya nostalgia thread....Buy a remote control car kit to build.

LunchBox anyone....[img] [/img]

Edit: ....and Rachel, I don't think you're supposed to LOOK up it.

Kids' toys, and the ability to not take yourself very seriously.

Or kids toys, upgraded to the point of ridiculousness:

Scalextric ,good fun ,massively impractical as it dominates an entire room hours of tinkering to get perfect electrical transmission , cars to tune and lots of eBay bargain hunting . the web forums are dull though.

I built up a Tamiya car last year, loved the building part, but can probably count the number of times I've driven it on the fingers of one hand. Expensive toy, don't regret it though.

Also got a Hubsan quadcopter, that's quite fun but makes an irritating noise - OK if you're on your own at home, not so good if your wife is trying to watch Masterchef.

Cooking's a good hobby, drawing's cheap, making and painting models isn't too expensive. Take a look at the "things I've made" thread to get some inspiration!

Although the flesh-pint is probably a winner 😀
