i did an MA with the OU so some of this may apply, it is hard work, you have to motivate yourself a lot of the time and it does get in the way of "life". There is help there but you find your working by yourself a lot of the time so it can get lonely.

great feeling once it is finished though!

I have done a PGCE and PG Dip with them on the way to my MBA and various other management and technical courses over the years. Still need a couple of modules to complete the MBA.

I found the quality of the teaching and the materials to be excellent. Its no easy option the standard they expect is very high.

They have an ace reputation at the OU it's AMBA accredited as well.

As a thought a number of MBA courses do a part time option which is effectively a a day or perhaps two per month usually a Friday and a day on a Saturday as well.

Might also be worth a look?

have to agree. the resources and learning support are excellent.

not sure if it's fact but i'm told that oxford and cambs uni's supply a lot of the modules for degree based courses.
