I seem to have made a purchase I can't afford on impulse.

Two tickets to see Pete Waters, tonight, at the MEN.
Now to avoid spending more money I've suggested we just take some butties for tea but my wife isn't too keen on this idea. We don't want to go to a restaurant but I can't remember what food we can get inside the arena. I've only ever bought crisps, sweets and drinks in there.

Anyone remember? How about inside Victoria station?

Depends what time you're arriving really. Victoria station is usual train station nosh, there'll be burger vans/usual fast food stuff outside the venue.

It's not too far from the Printworks (And surrounding food places), or even the Northern quarter so if you get in early enough you could find somewhere decent to sit down and eat something.

Why not go to one of the little cafes in the northern quarter? 3 curries and rice for a fiver. It may be formica tables, but the food is great! Yadgar is my personal favourite

Whatever you do don't eat in the arena.. Or Victoria station..
If you have time binners suggestion is a really good one, or just have a wander down deansgate,
Or just have a big lunch.....!

We normally go to EastZeast but that's a bit pricey.
Sounds like food in the arena is off though, thanks.

I hope to get there 6:30-ish which gives us less than an hour to get up to the printworks east something and then back.

Butties I reckon then. And a nice flask of tea. I used to take drugs to watch Pink Floyd you know.

Butties? There's a Maccy D's in the arena. Tenner for two easily!

Umezushi. Just opened, pretty much right underneath the arena, not very big but also not very easy to find.

Although just checked and not open on Mondays, so, er, disregard. But worth noting for future reference.
