Other than looking at the "stuff you've made" thread on here, what books inspire you to get away from the internet and cut down/destroy/build/make fire/make you feel manly while cosied up on the couch because there's dirt and stuff out there?

The Norwegian Wood books excellent, I really enjoyed reading it so too my BIL on the Farm who has taken a few tips out of it..

Have thumbed those two to death. One (Shelter) died in a flood, whilst the other was a gift to a friend. Now I read hers and make excuses to visit more often because of it!
They really are tremendously inspiring and often humbling.
mrs MR recently bought me a couple of books about sheds. They are fun to read but those two shelter publications are the shizZ!
