Evening.
I'm off to Madrid with my dad, brother and brother in law in April. Is there a district or neighbourhood that you can recommend?
We're after beer, Bernabeu and tapas.

Bernabeu is a bit far out, so I wouldn't stay near there. Plaza de Santa Ana is where I'd head to for beer and tapas, although it's been ten years since I lived there. Great sherry bar called Valencia near there, but you can't really go wrong anywhere around there.

Yep. On a plane back from there right now.
I'd try and stay in the Huertas area near that plaza.
There are soon really good looking hotel deals for there on TA
