I have set up a second user account on the computer, for the kids, so that we can use the parental controls and so on.

I still want them to be able to use iPhoto and iTunes, so how do I set it so they can use the pictures and music we have on the normal account on their new one?

I've been faffing for ages and I just can't work it out. Any suggestions before I fall out with this computer?

Thanks

We share our iTunes between different computers using the Authorise functionality. I think for different accounts on same Mac you need to put the library in the public area on the machine.

So once I've dragged the iPhoto library folder and iTunes folder into the public folder, what do I have to do then?

I think you just make sure the other account points to that library folder.

Just press the option button when you open itunes/iphoto and select the existing library (they will be in the user files for the original account).

I seem to have well and truly ****ed this up because now I have no pictures at all in iPhoto in the original user account.
