I'm an episode behind, but so far have found it quite unengaging, in spite of Elba's screen presence.
Brilliant series.
"Luther" has acutally pissed me off - cos before it I could quite safely say that the British cop/detective genre was one I hated. That was quite a ride though. And mad Alice is fab.
The series was a bit uneven and unintentionally comical at some points. As well as being made up of 60% cliche, but was enjoyable and as a massive fan of The Wire i would probably watch Stringer Bell reading the paper.
