[Closed] Living with an addict.....

First of all to anyone else in the same position I feel for you, some days it's bloody hard work.
Addiction is a complex thing and I have been doing plenty of reading, just wondered if anyone else has or is living with an addict?
Just looking for a bit of support and hope I guess, my boyfriend is trying his hardest to kick heroin and so far as I know he has got down to using maybe once every 4-5 weeks, he's on methadone too which I think is helping.
I'm trying to be supportive and I'm there if he wants me but try my best not to hound him about it, though we have had a couple of run ins over it as, all I want is honesty from him about how much he is using, and so far he has lied to me several times, I know that, that is still a lot for me to ask of him.
I know it's going to be a long road but I'm just hoping he can get there one day as I know in his heart he wants us to get married and have kids, but won't do that till he is off it.
