It's very nice, not as nice as a Chimay Bleu though.

Leffe brune is ok, leffe tripple is better if you can find it. Pelforth is a nice beer

Do you normally drink ales/bitters/stouts etc? or more a lager type person?

good god man, you could have at least offered it to those of us with taste buds!

hmm, might even be worth using up my one trip a year to tesco to get some at that price (tho i wonder if Asda are price matching?)

+1 for preferring it to the Blond.

Leffe is the sort of ubiquitous Belgian beer over here, but that doesn't stop it being great, though. Full of flavour.

I love Belgian beer and I can't wait to get back for the Tour of Flanders in April.

lidl had it in for under £1.50 a bottle last year, must admit I prefer the Blonde to the Brune. The Triple is even nicer but harder to source

Whatever.....

Anyways, if you like Leffe, I highly Recommend Jenlain to you.

I'm a great fan of strong European beers/lagers. It's one of the best I've tasted.

Jenlain Ambre is indeed a very fine beer, always on the shopping list when we pop over to France.
Leffe Brune is usually about £3.50 a bottle in our Sainsburys, so i only buy when it's "2for a fiver" offer. Seems ok to me for a large bottle of mighty fine stuff, after all, you only need to drink one. It's a sippin beer, not Fosters!
