my an taka tuck are mmmbops up and, i could belive just how many people there was already. As we got there just before 8am and, all the places at the top had been taken up, (so i parked my pick up in the tree) so whats is the earliest time you have gone for a ride?

You're supposed to park at the bottom where there are lots of parking spaces and ride up to the quarry. I'm assuming you are on a mountain bike.
You will not be riding up a mountain and so is very easy. 😉

Some kind of Motocross/Trials event going on. They were all allowed to park their 4x4s up at the top of the main climb up at the bend.
Having said that the carpark at the bottom has been locked up for few weeks now... probably to keep caravans out.

I'm surprised they haven't gated the lower part of the descent yet, there are very vocal complaints from the locals about the speed at which people insist on riding down the track past the houses. However....

There is now a really good short up and down trails through the woods at the bottom. Keep everyone happy and use them. 🙂

Parking is either on the Futures Park roads or in the Kingfisher car park outside office hours.

The area that's fenced off and locked is due to mtber's relieving themselves in the bushes next to the houses (yes there are no facilities, but you wouldn't want it next door to you or where your kids play) 😐

our last race is on the 26th so either see you there or please have a late start (we are done by 12)

i wasnt moaning, i was just surprised to see so many that early, an it shows just how popular a hole in the ground can be at 8 in the morning. 😉
