He was great on R4 the other day, met him at a corporate event a few years ago and he seems a good bloke, his enthusiasm was infectious.

Someone posted a link here to a Thurst SSC documentary on YouTube a few weeks back too, I think it was a thread about the Bloodhound. That was well worth a look.

He's bonkers in a very nice way isn't he?!
Did you notice the difference in the way the documentory was narrated compared to current ones? None of this dramatic music, long pauses followed by booming hollywood "every time he starts the car he's risking death" type commentry.
