in my never ending pursuit of non alcoholic ways to relax ( have always had trouble ) I came across the suggestion of trying L theanine ..particularly the brand Suntheanine which is reported to relax but not sedate .The branded stuff was quite expensive at £18 for 90 capsules of 150g but it does seem to do something rather pleasant although mild. I was wondering whether others on here take it or have tried it and what you think .It seems to go well with caffeine also ..reducing any jittery effect but keeping the alertness. Maybe it's just placebo ?
