The first one? I gave up after an hour. I'm not a 12 year old girl, I can cope with big words and a plot.
I hope the books are better else there are a lot of simple readers out there. Actually, given the success of Dan Brown and James Patterson, there must be.

I made it to the point at which vampires twinkled in sunlight then switched off.
Anne Rice has a much better take on the whole Vampire thing IMO.
