...and ours has an amnesty on!
Shhhhh.
Can't remember the last time I went to one, must have been in the 80s...
Wouldn't catch me going in to one tomorrow.
( I should point out I'm a librarian, and it's my day off)
They still have librarys then ?
I thought they died out when Amazon / Ebay and the internet were invented.
Libraries are awesome. Warm, free wifi, newspapers, books. No cell phones. What's not to like ?
I use my local library all the time.
I was in my local library today. It's brilliant. I can order online and pick up loads of books at 80p delivery. I've read loads because of that.
Just got "Mary Ann in Autumn" and "Raising Steam" today. Awaiting "The Days of Anna Madrigal" to be procured and delivered.
That reminds me, I've a copy of the Linux Bible waiting to be picked up...
Cheers,
Jamie
There'll be none left by the end of the year.
