I thought distance selling regulations gave us 30 days?

Depends on the reason if it’s you have changed your mind it’s 14 days.

"Distance Selling Regulations" doesn't exist.
Under the Consumer Rights Act you have 30 days to reject the goods if they're faulty / not as described / not of satisfactory quality / not fit for purpose.
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations you have 14 days from receipt of goods to reject for any reason if it was bought when not physically present (eg, ordered online, over the phone).

as above. 14 days for 'nah changed my mind mate', 30 days for 'hang on mate it's fallen apart already'
