Oops missed the other thread.

I don't think it's a fake/spoof. The tech is all there and viable. He's basically just strapped a big quadcopter to each foot!
Plus it was on the Guinness World Records channel.

I am not satisfied with a future in which my hoverboard sounds like a powerful hedge-trimmer.
