Is it ok to paint or powder coat a ti frame as i rearly like the look of a black frame with ti truss forks like the jones steel diamond on his web site , but dont see many ti bikes painted ?

Yes but it may need a surface prep on the frame (grit blasting) so the paint can adhere which would mean that if you ever wanted to go back it wouldn't just be a case of stripping the paint.
that is something i might want to do if it got a bit batterd about, but its good to see it can be done and great it looks too ,
