I'm a clumsy oaf so need a strong, waterproof/water resistant case. I've been using the Otterbox Defender which is great but bulky and sticks to my pocket like a £20 note when it's my round. These Lifeproof cases seem ideal but at $33 shipping plus possible imports they are really expensive. Does anyone know of a UK stockist?

That's about £20, the likelihood of there being any duty on that is really pretty remote. If it was up around $89-90, then more likely. Go for it for that price, an ordinary Belkin wil cost nearly that.
[Edit] if you can get it for $33 bite the seller's hand off quick, most dealers are selling between $65 and $90, although I did see one Gen 1 for $51.

Ah - it's the shipping alone that's $33, the case itself is $70!

They don't seem to have a UK stockist yet, I ordered mine and finally got it today. Including the import taxes it cost me about £100 but I really didn't want something like the otterbox as it makes the phone massive.
I did see a lifeproof gen 1 on ebay at one point, so maybe worth looking on there
