I've just received one of them there iphone 4 things and I wondered if any of you good people could recommend a good 'app' for mountain biking and/or walking?
if you're talking money no object then it has to be viewranger. If £14.99 is too much, then motion x is very good.
Big fan of MotionX GPS. Lite version is free and fully featured. Paid version is cheap and allows more waypoints.
Uses OpenCycleMap for terrain data and importantly you can download the area to your phone before you leave the house, which means you're not dependent on getting a 3G signal.
