Any Apple gurus who may be able to help?
My wife's iPhone 5c has had a wobbly. It turned off and now will not turn back on again. We've tried resetting it to no avail, also tried charging it. We plugged it into out PC and iTunes now won't recognise it.
Bar a trip to the Apple Store, anyone know of any fixes?
What do you mean by resetting it ? There are various restart / reset / hard reset's. Appointment at Apple is worthwhile if not too inconvenient.

Does the charging cable work with other iStuff? I know its supposed to work both ways up, but have you tried flipping it over?
Have you plugged it into iTunes then held down the power and home buttons for 10secs then released the power button whilst still holding the home button to open the restore option?
