What I dont want is

All I want is oneway iphone to macbook...

Many thanks in advance
anyone anyone anyone ?
Just turn it off in iPhoto, can't remember exactly how, but it's there. I have just a folder in iPhoto that I can drop photos in if I want them in photostream.
Double check that the 4Gb of photos are actually in your Photosteam on your iPhone. Do you actually choose Photostream on the iPhone to view them or do they just appear as an event? If the latter then it is more likely to do with your sync settings through iTunes. For example you might have set your iPhone to sync the last 12 events through iTunes, which will sync photos regardless of where they have come from. Change this in iTunes.
If it definitely is Photostream I think you can turn it off on iPhoto un-ticking the "AUtomatic Upload" setting. This way you have to manually add photos to Photostream that you add manually to iPhoto. Should do the job
