ipad has died. i've tried the double button press to reset it and then reinstall from laptop, seemed to work then died again and is now just flashing a silver apple at me.
not talking to itunes either.
any idea other than take it back to a 'genius'?

press and hold the on/off button for at least 20 seconds. worked on my i-pod, worth a try
