Always fancied getting a Canadian canoe but storage and transportation have always put me off. Was walking by the local canal yesterday and saw a couple paddling a Stearns Back Country inflatable canoe which looked the business. Anyone here got experience with this or any other make of inflatable canoe?

We've got a Sevylor Colorado

It's pretty good, although it's a while since we used it. Packs down to a reasonable size, inflates fairly quickly ~ 10 mins with a hand pump. They don't glide as nicely as a proper canoe, but otherwise they handle pretty well.

Ta. Sevylors are also a lot cheaper than the Stearns.

We also test 'drove' a Gumotex Palava which was also pretty good, can't quite remember why we preferred the Sevylor
