Just worked my way through the whole thread of videos - a few I didn't know, which was good, but a lot of great memories of friends, parties and gigs. I remember seeing Extreme at Gateshead supporting Bryan Adams- think Little Angels opened - when most of the audience only knew them from the ballady stuff. I'm not sure they were quite ready for Pornograffitti. What an album!

Today I've mostly been groovin' to Mr Soul by Buffalo Springfield, as featured on the 'Laurel Canyon' doc.

Saw that tour in Cardiff. Squeeze, Little Angels, Extreme and Brian.

A lot of fun, all of them. Adams was superb, Squeeze were a hoot, Extreme just so much funky rocking, and the Angels? Well, they did their thing and were excellent as ever.

Also, similar to the Extreme point, went to Bon Jovi at Wembley, with the GF of the time and her younger sister, who wanted to see Bon Jovi. She'd heard all the lovely ballad stuff. She along with many other teenagers there, was not ready for the stadium hair rock that ensued!

Saw Van Halen at Don Valley supporting Bon Jovi in 95 iirc.

I went to see Van Halen on the back of this song, and loved it although came away liking Bon Jovi more..oops.

Bought the 12" vinyl single and at the same time bought the below, so I'll leave this here too.

I was at that gig. Left before the encore, the closing fireworks caused a Police horse outside the stadium to throw it's rider and make off down the Attercliffe Road pursued by a phalanx of Police cars 🤣

Only seen VH live the once, mind you it was Monsters of Rock '84 at Donny so it was somewhat special ;0)

c_g very much approves of Graham Parker and can't believe I'd never heard him first time round. Excellent to see the late Paul Butterfield mentioned, so talented and have been listening to a lot of his stuff (including with Mike Bloomfield) over the last couple of years. Actually youtube have recently removed a brilliant track of him playing live with Rick Danko, Elvin Bishop and Carlos Santana. So annoying and need to hunt that down.

As you were.
