Im looking for 2 cheapish chairs similar to Ikea poang's

With no ikea's that close to me with delivery they work out pretty expensive.

I don't want to be paying that much if I can help it......Does anyone know of cheaper alternatives?

Thanks

I've got a blue one in the loft. Gimme a shout if you're in the Stirlingshire area. 😉

There'll be few places that can manage to sell a new piece of furniture for less than Ikea does.

Christmas is coming and people tend to be buying new furniture and looking for a home for the old stuff. Save a search on ebay and on gumtree so that you get notifications for the Ikea Poang specifically and 'Bentwood recliner' generally and wait a few weeks and see what comes up locally

I've done the same for 'Bo Concept Fargo' as I like them but I don't like them enough to pay £5000 🙂

Check places like Blythswood.

Any ikea product - get a search going on eBay within 25 miles with the model name.

Be patient and you'll get a nearly new bargain.

I got a £500 ikea sofa which was basically brand new for £50. Patience is the key but I would have thought there would be loads of Poangs up for sale.

Lucklly (especially in that there London) there seems to be plenty of people who buy it seem to sell it again not long afterwards, usually for about 1/4 of the price they paid. And I've got a great big van. And I'm in no hurrry.

Got a job lined up in Paris in late Jan and will be driving back to Scotland empty so have my ebay-feelers out all over at the moment 😆
