Standard story: 3 year old bed, moved house, stored bed, moved house again, fasteners weren't in the incredibly sensible place I remember putting them.

IKEA don't seem to supply the fixing kits separately (unless someone can tell me otherwise?) so I'm trying to replace them from B&Q and bodging.

The main bolts are 7mm across the threads and 1 thread per 1.2mm. Am I right in thinking this is M7?

Ta.

Standard (coarse) M7 thread pitch is 1.0mm.

Called IKEA again, turns out they can post replacements, and for free.

We'll see, fingers crossed.

My local ikea has a massive box of spare fittings in the bargain section. All sorts of different bolts, screws and fittings if you have a rummage.
