totally hypothetical, but if a host cancelled an airbnb at the last minute, would travel insurance cover the now useless ryanair flights?

Also, have you called airbnb? they're pretty good on finding alternatives, they can give you a percentage uplift to find somewhere else and if it's last minute, they can contact hosts by phone on your behalf to make sure you get somewhere to stay.

And if your travel company was cautious, they'd exclude sharing economy from cancellation cover if it was available. Happens a lot.

Why would you need the flights insured? Just book another place to stay. Non issue really....
