My sister has her two boys staying with her on Friday night, and I said I'd sort out some kind of quiz that we could all do together online (they're in the North West, we're in the South West).
The boys are 14 and 15, and there'll be them and my sister at their end, me and MrsIHN at our end. Everyone will have a phone, and there'll be a laptop at each end for Duo/Messenger/Skype videocalling.
Anyone done similar and can point me in the direction of something good?
Basically, it's Cards Against Humanity.
14 and 15 year olds will definitely aprove of the puerile humour
Er, thanks.
And other ideas?
B3ta has some excellent ones.
Something like Man milk or moo milk will be appreciated by the boys I'm sure.
Ah, yeah, I was looking at Kahoot. Any particularly recommended quizzes in there (I'd like to put together my own, but I don't really have time)?
Play a round of will it float.
Large glass water filled receptical.
Introduce all the items and get everyone to write down wether it will sink or float.
Fruits are good because some are quite surprising.
You're probably thinking but they're 14 its surprisingly competitive.
Good things are aluminium foil flat and scrunched up tightly.
Paper. Wet and dry.
You get the idea.
My mate used this as a round in a quiz we did t'other week, didn't realise it was a "viral" thing, but if you haven't already seen it, it's one round ticked off....
Our kid did a quiz the other week with a multiple-choice round on collective nouns. Some of them are bonkers. Another round, which was fairly self-explanatory: cheese or font?
I know it's a bit late but we had fun doing an online escape room and it's free

They have done a sequel which you have to pay for but is very hard and in my opinion worth the money
If second kahoot. Plenty of gen knowledge films other catagories. I use it in school we would do a past paper and then a 10 question gen knowledge quiz.
