No but some of these games these days, they look amazing. I've not played that many games, never been all that fussed and my ADHD don't help, but some of the visual imagery in games like Bioshock are incredible:

But that's rubbish really by comparison Duntmatter.
I think it was Doom3 or something like that; literally almost shat meself playing it when something jumped out of the dark at me.
I do enjoy a bit of Need For Speed: Carbon, but my thumbs hurt afterwards.
These games surely aren't good for anyone. What about teenagers who spend days at a time playing them? 😯
What if this sort of creative talent was used in more pleasant and constructive games, like Sims and Sim City?
Woon't be as much fun, would they?

Everyone loves to be blown away by astonishing high quality graphics, but playability is the heart of the game.
The best games are always ones you play with a bunch of your mates in a room. Graphics is always secondary to that, for me.
Despite Tekken and many subsequent posh 3D beat 'em ups, Street Fighter II is still the most FUN! I normally destroy [i]anyone[/i] who takes me on, then retire after 4 rounds with huge ragged blisters where my thumbtips were. I then can't play anything for weeks.
Oh yeah, you gotta love the violence!
If you want paranoia and frenzied bursts of sickening violence, Alien v Predator isn't bad.
But I'd quite like to just wander around in some of those games, have a butchers at stuff. But you've got to keep killing. And killing. And killing.....
I had Alien V Predator on my iMac a few years ago. Many 'pant-staining' moments.
Fallout 3 - the slow mo killings are fantastic. As are the tackles in Fifa 10. Each to their own.
it'd be good for you. You can go online,into a fantasy world, and kill and maim all your friends over n over again.
When you get bored of that, you can team up, and kill and maim other friends or random strangers.
It's cathartic!
I think STW should have an online multiplayer feature, where you can create avatars for youself, then wander round a 3-D world, looking for people to argue with. You could have instant deathmatch, and team up with others too.
SimonFBarnes would be like Grand Master Level 1000 or something. Hora would just keep getting destroyed. Ernie would lie in wait then ambush people, and TJ would go in for the kill.
Quite like the killing and maiming bit though. Could incorporate that. I'd be invincible....
D'you think Cash Converters etc are good to buy Ecks-Bockses? I'm not spending thousands of pounds on one; it'll only end up getting thrown across the room in a fit of tantrum rage.
