Just synch the iPod with iTunes.

Don't sync as that will wipe the iPod, the new computer will see it as synched with a different library. You'll need to set manually manage songs in iTunes when you first connect it and a search here will find the PC users choice of software for this job, on the Mac I use Senuti.

er, do not do what PP says. That will sync your ipod with your empty iTunes library by deleting all of your music from your Ipod.

You need to make sure you have the "Manually Manage Music" option selected in preferences. (I'm doing this from memory btw, I do not have iTunes on this computer.)

In order to move music off of your iPod and onto a computer I am pretty sure you need something like iPod Access which is what I have used many times for doing just what you are trying to do.
