Well, this is getting good innit?

Caroline's death was very well handled, that smashed jug set me off, Alastair's insensitivity was brilliantly done and the whole Matt/Anisha thing is about to go very runny.
Matt obviously wants the house in Lill's name, I wonder what he has planned for Justin?
Whatever it is, it's going to be very nasty.

An awful lot going on at the mo, let's hope the arch-miserablists at Bridge Farm and Brookfield are quiet for a while.

Lilly's going to be fun, great character, but still no idea what Chris is for.

Al and Shula were still at the ball, doesn't seem Justin's style, so who do we think?

Grundy's are usually at fault. "Bloomin' 'eck".

Or maybe Josh, in an unlicenced, untaxed, unpaid for, combine?

Or that witch woman with the 'erbal teas?

Maybe all of them. Come to think of it isn't that Leksi east european? Gotta be her.

Then again Alistair has some scores to even - no fixed odds here.

Good point.
Tom, high on Shires and kimchi wreaks revenge......

Mushroom Freddie, perhaps?

Oooh, this is going to be good.
Assume the wedding's off.

Harrison's got his work cut out with this one, not sure he's up to it.
Still not solved the bunting theft.

Archers on catch up or just ask me mother in law for a quick synopsis* choices choices

*this option likely to be longer and less coherent but possibly way more entertaining.

What was in Matt's suitcase? The one he was so desperate to put behind the bar.

I reckon there's skullduggery afoot. Blackmailing Latif?

Hmmm, Nic and the suitcases struck me as bit odd.

Assume he wasn't hit outside the Bull, someone would have noticed, so was he wobbling off to find Lil?
Would explain why he had to leave the cases......

Car had full beam on, Matt said 'Dip your lights' just before the 'accident'.

Could it be the new vet?
Josh and his new sports car?
Lilly on a spree?

Good god, I haven't been this excited since Nipplegate.

Really?!?

God, I hope so.
But why would she wait all these years to do something, y'know, interesting?
Even her affairs have been tedious.

I thought she was at the ball all night?

Not heard any of this week's yet, right, iPlayer it is...

Hmm, didn't she once step out with Neil 'The Pig Whisperer' Carter?
She's got form.

Can't help thinking they'll string this out for ages, think we might be a little premature here.
Where were Newpip and the Gin Blossom, btw?

The suspects...
Justin - too obvious 2-6 against
Shula - current favourite. Evens.
Fagash Lil - outside bet, playing a long game, maybe. 10-1
Adam - 7-2. Decent
Josh - New car. Not seen for a while. 6-1. Where the smart money is

meanwhile, Matt clearly thinks it's his dodgy business mates, otherwise why would he leave the hospital, go into hiding and be so keen to leave the country.

So, who swept Matt off his tiger feet, alky Alice or St Nic?

Another Archer's pregnancy? Spare us, please.Not buying #muckypip, Toby's a treat though.

And the Adam/Ian/Roy/Lexi quadrangle - FFS man, do something worthwhile for once, marry her before she realises that you're wetter than Kirsty's pants.

She was quite annoying in her own right, but not enough bad stuff can happen to that smug sneery-voiced forelock-tugging creep Will to make me happy. It's a start though,

No idea what she whispered to Joe, a last request for a glass of Tumble Tussock?

Maybe she knew who shifted the bunting?

Or where Kathy and Jamie have gone?

Must be Tiger related, my guess is that she saw Alky Alice or Shula mow him down.

And what a shame about Brian - I genuinely thought Jennifer Dahling was going to punch him at one point.

Just been catching up with the omnibus. Poor Nic, quite a few others I'd have rather seen go than her. As for the confession, well was she not working at the Bull when Matt left his suitcases behind the bar? I reckon she had a peek in them.

Catching up, just under an hour to go...

Brilliant, isn't it?

The handover of Brian's testicles was well done, actually made me feel sorry for him. A bit.

Will? He's a psychopath isn't he? That conversation with Ed was chilling. Proper put me off my toast.

Harrison might have twigged about 'the bunting'.

And we have a genuine thesp 🙂

Cannot wait for Mike Leigh as guest editor...

Current plot lines seem a random. Ever since O'Connor it seems to be a case of forget any history the character may have and just randomly write anything. And feel free to let it fade into oblivion without any explanation. #BlockedCulvert.

Seems to be a deliberate strategy. Some juicy revelations then deliberate blandness for a week or so.

Anyway.

No sympathy for Shula.

Or Freddie.

Or Brian.

Who's taking Lilly up Lakey Hill?

Where's Cursedy?

And why the hell is the actress that plays Pat not off doing something more interesting? She stole that scene right from under Alison Steadman's nose, proper scenery chewing stuff.

Silly lad. Bound to happen sooner or later.

Feel sorry for 'Friction' Burns. No choice, seeing as his overacted mates from work were about.

Love this new BBC policy of shifting characters between programmes - Mr Gently-Benevolent suits Ambridge perfectly.
