I'm scoping a new wagon, and the Santa Fe seems to tick all the boxes:

Surf capable with rack. 4wd (but only when you need it) but economical.

Bikes can go in or on a roof/boot rack.

Bloody good value and comes with every conceivable extra (in premium trim).

Quick too; new engine pumps out 194 Bhp.

Anyone had one to test/ any opinions?

Yep, this lunchtime. The only thing worse (amongst such type of vehicles) is a Navara. Plastic, plastic, plastic, yuk!

I had a good look inside yesterday and I thought the interior was fine, if a little 'hard'. How did it drive?

I drove on a couple of weeks ago. It was a truly dismal experience.

Interior plastics that wouldn't be acceptable to Fisher Price, handled like a cow on castors, poor visibility, noisy, slow (or at least felt like it) apalling ride quality, I could go on.

Nice colour though...

Bugger! Back to plan A. I'll keep my T5 and replace it with a LWB 4-motion in a couple of years.

Whatever the mileage or condition of your T5 it will be a far better vehicle than a Santa Fe.

Okay. I'll save up towards the 4-motion instead. Happy days!
