We will be in touch
I recently got an HTC Desire phone. I seem to have to charge it every night. I do a wee bit of web surfing & emailing on it. I stay in the country with a poor reception, would that have a bearing on the battery life? Is there anything I can do to extend the recharging time?
I have a wildfire that lasts 2 days with bluetooth, wifi, mobile internet all turned off until you need them, they are very battery hungry though.
And yes if you are constantly trying to locate satellites it won't help battery life.
I download juice defender which made a real difference I can now go two days without charging
I charge mine every night but I don't find it a problem as I put it on when I go to bed. Having poor signal isn't going to help as it will be constantly searching as toby1 says. Turn it all off and only put in on when you need it.
screen and the brightness of it uses a huge amount of power, you should be about to set the brightness to a lower setting
There is a window which tells you what has been using the battery. Currently 44% cell standby 35% phone idle. 13% Android system.
Looks for juice defender.
