Need to take a car & trailer full of kit a few 100 miles to an event & want to minimise fuel costs. Have a choice of either a Freelander - which has crap fuel consumption anyway - 33 on a good day without a trailer, or a 4x4 diesel octavia - normally 45? Anybody any idea of what these would be reduced to (& me to tears) with a box trailer on? Don't want to take the Octavia if it ends up using as much fuel as the Freelander!
