I'm not in the league of Man vs Food but after a easy morning in the office I had a big mac meal for lunch and I recon I could easily do it all again - twice.

Lots,

BTW I was once challenged to eat 3x Burger King Bacon Double Cheese Burgers, sounded easy, I was hungry and even more of a greedy fat **** than I am now.

First was lovely, looking forward to the second, the second started well, but by then the news of the first burger had reached by brain and was telling me I probably didn't need a second, the third started as pure chore, but again about half way through my brain was telling me to stop.

I finished the third, and threw up.

I can eat one of the big bags of haribo in about 5 mins though.

I can eat a full size parmo hotshot with chips but have to admit I normally leave the salad.

I couldn’t manage a 72oz steak, and 20oz of sides once. So not as much as that.

Many years ago me and a few mates went to Pizza hut for the all you can eat buffet and my mate, according to the waitress, ate the equivalent of 2 and a half family size pizzas plus 2 plates of pasta and a small bowl of salad. He said the salad was a bit too much and should have left that!

We once did it as a dare at art college - I managed three Big Mac meals in a row (I was allowed to discard the pickles obvs., as no-one eats them). Beverage of choice was root beer. I wish they still did root beer.

All the no. Although now, in my later life, I don't mind them as much as I did and don't remove them. But that's because I use the touchscreen ordering things and ask for mine without – then I am also sure of getting a nice and warm burger as its been freshly prepared. Either that or the service assistant did what I used to do and take them out of an already prepared burger and throw them at the nearest window to see if they can get them to stick first time.

🙂

About 15 years ago we had a Burger King Challenge in our office. IIRC it was to eat 5 Bacon Double Cheeseburgers without a drink in 15 mins..  A couple of the lads managed it - most didn't including me.  I did eat a fairly substantial Chicken Curry and boiled Rice from the chippy on Saturday night with half of a portion of Fish and Chips as a chaser.  I was famished though.... I reckon I still had room for more.

I once watched by best mate, who is built like the proverbial brick outhouse, and was boxing heavyweight at the time (a handy best mate to have) put 12 Big Macs away, one after the other, followed by a chicken nuggets meal chaser and then about ten pints of Guinness

Last time I left the freezer door open we had to cook all the meat.

I easily ate 20 sausages during a normal working day.

I could eat sausages forever and then have some more for pudding.

If you put a cheese board, no matter what size, in front of me and my dad, we’ll just go at it until it’s finished. Same with the red wine to wash it down

... and the endless amount of bollocks we talk while doing so 😀

Yeah I think you missed the point of the thread.

I can eat loads not as much as I was when I was younger but still put away a shit load of food when hungry.

Good lad. 😊

I used to be able to eat the large Sunday lunches my mil used to put in front of me, I'm sure she used to try and beat me!

As I've aged, my appetite has diminished down to normal sized meals.

I’m a lightweight when it comes to food these days, which is probably a good thing. Went to pizza express the other week, could only manage 3/4 of a thin & crispy diavolo. Did leave room for pud though 😉

bacon & egg sandwich yesterday morning, again only 3/4 of it

My goal in life is to eat a double dozen of Krispy Kreme doughnuts in one sitting.

I think I might die from the enormous calorie intake though.

Ive done 2 double bacon cheese burgers, 2small fries and 6 chill cheese bites from BK in vouchers for lunch at work a few times.

I am now unsurprisingly on a diet.

I know a cheeky little Mexican restaurant that does the most amazing burritos.  Real Mexican food, not Tex Mex.  The 'go large' option resembles a can of Super Tennents in size and I can easily down one in a few minutes.  Have always joked I could sink another in the same sitting.  Easily.

Ton, i made a few mistakes, rare is not the way to cook a big steak if you want to actually eat it, it quickly turns into a massive, cold, bloody, gelatinous blob. Plus I filled up on the onion ring and chip accompaniments 😕

reckon a medium steak with no sides I’d smash it.

if this has made anyone peckish...

Ask my g/f, she’s continually astounded by the amount of food I manage to shovel away. I even lick the plate.

She is a very good cook, though!

I was once asked to leave a pizza hut all you can eat because they thought I'd had enough. I went in when it opened for lunch and I think I left around 3pm.

Couple of weekends ago.we did a riding trip tp aviemore. Morning at glenlivett and then afternoon doing the awesome high burnside trails. Had 2 full dinners consisting of pizza and beer followed by a full breaded fish supper. Twas amazing and still room for more.

6 pints consumed so over 1000 calories in beer alone. Pizza 2000 ish and 850 plus in the fish. So easily close to 4000 for dinner.....

If feeling hungry, I can comfortably eat a full 500g bag of pasta /spaghetti (plus whatever sauce I have made).

If cooking for one,  I usually do the full bag thinking that I will have leftovers for lunch.

Carb loading.

I once done a 6 piece bargain bucket on my own - didn't manage all the fries, but that's at least partly because KFC fries are cack.

Eaten a 1kg filet steak. Nom nom nom.

Done Dominos tuesday two pizza offer a couple of times.

Don't bother so much these days. Although.

Tescos do a nice slightly spicy vegetarian pizza for £5. About 1kg in one pizza. Aimed at serving two people minimum, obvs. Makes a nice dinner for one.

If I've got my comfy trackies... So much that I get a pain in my shoulder. Weird.

If I'm dressed for a nice dinner out... 3 courses max.

I either need to see a doctor or move up a size in my dress trousers 👖

Absolutely loads unfortunately. Pretty much a bottomless stomach.

I've done 10 big macs since that seems to be a standard unit of measure for this thread and that was 2 less than my mate 😯

Used to eat two large extra value meals all the time or a couple of 12” pizzas. Then do similar later for another meal

I once continued eating at an all you can eat buffet for about 1 hour after everyone else I was with had left. Kilo of chocolate plus a couple of bags of Haribo no worries... once ate a big bowl of skittles for breakfast too...

I could probably gain 15-20lbs a month from over eating. The key is to sit at a desk doing paperwork shovelling food down..

i am a greedy git and i could do it all again now if getting fat did not make me depressed/at risk of diabetes... mind you at work 250lbs was not an odd size and there were a few 350s

A chap I hung out with at uni, a defensive lineman for the American football team, his post training meal was a kfc family bucket and 3 cigarettes.

they trained 3-5 times a week.

Can eat way more than is good for me.

Worst (not the most) was a hungover meal at my mate's house. His mum prepared the biggest possible plate of food I could imaging and I wasn't in hungry hangover mode. I got my head down and tucked in, usual Sunday roast behaviour for me, finish the plateful and then see about seconds.

Polished the whole lot off to see the shock in everyone's faces and seconds being forced on to my plate. Turned out if you finished what was in front of you she thought that meant she didn't give you enough and was a bit insulted. Every one else had a decent amount of food still left on their plates and I felt ill.

A friend and I once decided to see how many MacDonalds Cheeseburgers we could eat, which is the type of silly experiment we come up with after a few beers. The answer for me was 9. The staff looked quite puzzled as I kept going back for more.
