Craze again, saw him at a tiny club in Norwich years ago and he absolutely rocked it.

Cash Money, good party DJ but also invented loads of new techniques that fell on deaf ears because the competition judges were more interested in body tricks.

Q-Bert, dull as ditchwater when I saw him live but amazing on record. Think "Bear Witness" might be my favourite hip hop track ever.

Eddie Def and the Bulletproof Skratch Hamsters, make Kid Koala sound like easy listening.

coldcut saw them do an audiovisual dj set once and it was utterly amazing (isnt DJ Food the same two guys).
Kid Koala is amazing too although the music never quite gets going enough for me.

DJ food is now one guy. Started off as DJ Food Fight which was different guys doing mixes under that name. But now it's the one guy. I need citation like i was Wikipedia or some S but thats close to the truth. Coldcut were something to do with it.

Yalls should download the solid steel podcasts every week. Different dj's (coldcut etc) every week. Usually pretty "dope"

Shadow's production is amazing, especially Endtroducing, but as a DJ/performer, he's not up there with the best of them IMO. "Brainfreeze" was great though.

dj food & DK Now Listen is almost as good as Coldcuts Journeys by DJ and ColdKrush Cuts (Coldcut and DJ Foodfight versus DJ Krush is good too.

dj food is strictly kev.you will find him on solid steels going back over the years on most weekly shows.

around 2004 i saw kid koala,j.more(coldcut),darren knox(DK),blockhead and skalpel with lucky cat and juxta doing the vj stuff to top it off.never seen all the dj with vj stuff before so all these guys in one night was something else.an aerial view of the decks showing kid koala doing stuff like drunk trumpet really showed folk how on earth he did it,and without seeing it you wouldnt think anything of it.
pity the zen tour didnt happen every year :O(
